• Opening of the 19th edition of the Summer University of Maspalomas 02/07/10

The Summer University of Maspalomas, which runs until July 30, is organized by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Maspalomas Foundation, the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and the Canary Islands Government with the collaboration of ExpoMeloneras and other financial institutions

On Monday, July 5, at 9:30 pm in ExpoMeloneras (Old Palace Meloneras Congress) will take place the inauguration of the XIX edition of the Summer University of Maspalomas.

In the opening ceremony will be present: José Regidor García, president of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Maria del Pino Torres Melian, Mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, a representative of the Government of the Canary Islands, a representative of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and Santiago Hernández León, director of the Summer University of Maspalomas.
