EXPOMELONERAS CONVENTION CENTRE

The ExpoMeloneras Convention Centre is situated in the south of Gran Canaria in the area of Meloneras, a strategically important place equipped with several new hotels offering a maximum of service and comfort.

The ExpoMeloneras building is modern, very luminous and functional; it has got a great team of professionals and technicians and therefore it is perfectly prepared to respond to the requirements of any event, meeting, conference, presentation, course, etc.

Due to the singular architecture and the privileged location the building is especially outstanding; it can be easily reached on foot from any of the imposing hotels of the Lopesan Hotel Group and also from the hotels of other international hotel chains.

The building occupies a surface of 14.000 square metres, 9.264 of which are dedicated to congresses, exhibitions, concerts, sports events, fashion shows, meetings and other events.

The building’s main room is the denominated MASPALOMAS ROOM on a surface of 3.600 square metres, without columns and with a height of 10 metres; this room is polyvalent and divisible into up to 15 smaller acoustically completely isolated rooms.
The 4.000 square metres surrounding the large Maspalomas room are called “Cristalariums” because of their huge windows letting in natural sunlight. These spaces are ideal for organising complementary exhibitions, as well as trade and poster exhibitions, coffee-breaks, lunches, dinner, etc. Additionally there is the La Vela Terrace with a capacity for 800 persons and direct access from and to the hotels.
The “Las Tirajanas” Auditorium with perfect acoustic conditions and a capacity for 804 persons has the shape of a Roman theatre; it guarantees a perfect view onto the stage from any angle of the hemicycle.

Additionally there are 6 rooms from 60 up to 80 square metres, like the VIP room, the Press room and the Oval room.
